FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • HOW DO I GET THERE?
We are located just south of Savannah, Georgia.  From Interstate 95-
Southbound, take the Richmond Hill exit (GA-144 E exit- EXIT 90).  Turn left
at bottom of exit ramp onto Hwy. 144 towards Richmond Hill.  Stay on Hwy.
144 for approx. 6 miles.  Turn left onto Hwy. 144 Spur.  Stay on this road
until you reach the Ft. McAllister marina on the left (3203 Ft. McAllister
Road, Richmond Hill, Georgia).  We'll meet you there.  Just call us when you
    get off the exit ramp.
  • WHAT'S YOUR SUCCESS RATE?
We have a very high success rate for free-range hunting, however, it is free-
range, so we have had folks that didn't get 2 hogs.  And unfortunately, there
are times when people just plain miss the shot.  We will make every effort
possible to make sure you are successful.
  • WILL WE ENCOUNTER GATORS AND SNAKES?
During the months of March to October, you will see plenty of gators
throughout the hunt.  We have some big boys down here too.  There are no
poisonous snakes where we hunt, well I've never seen one in 23 years of
    hunting anyway.
  • HOW IS THE WEATHER?
December thru February is typically 40-50 degrees F, and great for cold
weather hunting.  March and April are in the 50's and 60's.  May is in the
80's.  June - August is HOT!  We try to avoid hound hunts during these
months because the heat and the gators are too much on the dogs.  Sept.
is also warm, but not unbearable.  October & November are ideal months to
    hunt.

  • What's NOT included in the price?
Gratuities - we all go above and beyond to give you a great hunt and truly
appreciate your generosity.  Customary gratuity should be a minimum of $50
per hunter, that is split among the guides and cooks, but is not already
included in the price of your hunt!  Your license is not included, see "What to
    Bring".
